Jupiter Rugby was founded in 2005 by Mr. Sean Simon. The program was then inducted into the Jupiter-Tequesta Athletic Association in 2008. Meanwhile, a separate and independent Informational Rugby Club formed at Jupiter High School. This club has served to help educate students and the public about JTAA Rugby and on how to get involved as supporters or participants. JTAA Rugby currently has over 100 boys and girls and two teams for each gender. The teams travel throughout the state to compete for an annual high school championship.The boys and girls teams have both won the Pure High School State Championship the last three years in a row. |
